This guest of the Garden of Olives had unlimited doubts.
A customer recently upset the Olive Gardens corporate team when they shared what they discovered in their bread.
TikTokker @fartbubble69420 posted a video showing a half-eaten loaf of bread with “O K6” printed on it.
“Guys why is there paper on my olive garden bread,” the diner captioned the video.
The disturbing video quickly went viral amassing over 3.4 million views and soon received a response from the official Olive Garden TikTok account.
“We’re anxious to see that,” Olive Garden responded.
They then asked the person to send an email to their social media account with their name and the location where the marked bread was served.
The TikTokker updated viewers with a second video showing a screenshot of an email from Olive Garden giving them a $100 gift card to the restaurant.
Although there was never an official explanation for what happened, several people responded in the comments claiming to know what went wrong.
TikTokker and Olive Garden did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Several people claiming to be current or former employees of the restaurant chain said the print was likely transferred from the plastic bag the popular appetizers are kept in when they are delivered and refrigerated.
This comes shortly after Olive Garden’s parent company, Darden Restaurants, began to see its stock rebound from a weak summer, likely due to an inflation-inspired price increase.
“We are clearly seeing changes in consumer behavior,” Darden CEO Rick Cardenas said at the time. “The lower-income consumer appears to be pulling back.”
The Italian chain specifically became too expensive for those earning less than $75,000.
However, Olive Garden is still tempting guests with its discounted offerings, including the Never Ending Pasta Bowl and Never Ending First Course serving endless soup, salad and bread — let’s just hope they don’t end. numbered.
